It has been a while since I have written on my blog and eventually I will share why, but for now I needed to jump back in to writing on a happy note! I wanted to take a moment to tell you about some essentials that I can’t live with out. Okay, I don’t need these things to survive but they sure are a few of my favorite things that I often carry with me, or use everyday! Chuao Chocolatier Potato Chip Bar
- This chocolate is hands down my favorite. Why? Well, it’s because it has the perfect balance between sweet and salty. It is ta great fix for when you are having a sweet tooth but also really want that salty bag of chips! It had to be included on this list because I LOVE IT.
Blistex chapstick
- I have tried more chapsticks in my life than I can count. But, there is one I always come back to and it’s the medicated Blistex chapstick! This stuff keeps my lips so soft, and it doesn’t have a nasty flavor. It goes on clear and provides a hydrated look and feel for my lips! I always have it in my pocket, purse and car!
Natural Cycles
- Natural Cycles is a 100% natural way to track your period, fertility window, and prevent or plan a pregnancy! How does it work? It is so easy! In the morning you take your basal temperature first thing when you wake up before you get out of bed. Then you upload your temperature in the Natural Cycles app and it uses an algorithm to determine when you are ovulating. It then tells you whether it is a green day (no-low chance of pregnancy) or a red day (high chance of pregnancy) this way you can determine whether or not to use protection on your red days to prevent pregnancy or if you are trying to conceive the red days are when you will want to try!
- Natural Cycles does not prevent STI’s and is for those 18+. Like any form of birth control there is not a 100% chance of preventing a pregnancy using this method. 7 out of 100 women may become pregnant while using natural cycles to prevent a pregnancy. On the other hand many who are trying to conceive have became pregnant within using Natural Cycles for one month!

Lilly Pulitzer agenda, pens and organizers
- I am obsessed with Lilly Pulitzer agendas, organizers and pens! They help me to stay on top of my schedule, plan my week and keep track of my goals each month! These agendas and planners got me through college with a breeze. Now I use them every day to mark down my hours for work, and events coming up each month. The other thing they are great for is staying on top of bills! I put each payment on the day it is due so I know when I need to pay them!
Scout collection
- Scout gets me. I mean, adorable patterns, washable fabrics?! It was meant for me. I love Scout and am constantly adding on to my collection. They have something for everyone! Wallets, wristlets, purses, totes, coolers and more!
Magnolia (jewelry + magazine + Target Hearth and Hand)
- Who doesn’t love Magnolia? I have grown up watching Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines. I love their work and even more I love their Magnolia line. I have gotten some of my favorite earrings, and bracelets from them. I also love my Magnolia Journal subscription! It is filled with inspiring stories, yummy recipes, and great design ideas. They also have recently started a target line called “Hearth & Hand with Magnolia” This line includes great affordable products that fit into the Magnolia aesthetic! I got my husbands Christmas presets from this line!
Tarte Cosmetics
- I ABSOLUELY LOVE TARTE MAKEUP! Most of their products are vegan and all of them are cruelty free! I have a little bit of everything from them! My favorites though are the mascaras, eye shadows, eyeliners, blushes and foundations! They often have great sales too! This makeup goes on like butter! It smells good and clean and does not ever irritate my skin!
Rodan and Fields
- I recently started using the sensitive skin regimen from Rodan and Fields called Soothe. It has been about a year and my skin hasn’t felt this good in so long! I really love the 4 step process, and what’s even cooler is that they have a face regimen for every skin type! Take their little quiz to see what regimen would be best for you! My friend Katy got me hooked on having the softest, cleanest skin, now its my turn to share it with you!
Hydro Flask
- I have always been one to drink a lot of water through out the day. Two years ago I found the best bottle, Hydro Flask! One day on my way to work in the middle of the summer, I forgot my water in the car and I was so sad but I couldn’t go back to the car to get it. 9 hours later when I got back to my car it still had all of the ice I put in it, nothing melted! It blew me away! I haven’t used another bottle since then! What makes Hydro Flask so great is that they hold not only cold but heat as well! It’s perfect for the winter when you want to sip on your hot chocolate or hot coffee throughout the day!
Leather cord organizers
- I am a huge fan of staying organized. I recently found these adorable cord snaps that allow you to coil your cords, chargers, headphones and so on with out them tangling or falling apart! Plus they are so adorable. I got them from an Etsy shop “Exsect” I got three Bronze and they sent me a black one for free! I honestly use these every day and really love them. I’m going to order some more for my friends and family to use as a stocking stuffer because they are only $3 and are supper efficient!
Eden jewelry
- Any one who knows me knows that I always have my Eden Jewelry on. My fish ring, fish necklace, fish bracelet, Cape Cod bracelet, fisherman’s knot bracelet, and bittersweet bracelet are staple jewelry items for me. I never take them off! These pieces of jewelry are all so special to me because they each have some significance behind them. Some were given to me for Christmas by my grandparents, one belonged to my mum, and two of them were graduation gifts, one from graduating high school and one from graduating college last year! I love that these bracelets scream “I’m a Capecodder!” When I was away from home for school, I would look at my bracelets and they would always remind me of the Cape and bring a smile to my face!
- If you plan on going to Eden, it is an itty-bitty, quaint shop with lots of rules! They are only open in the summer time and you must have a plan to reserve a ticket for entrance ahead of time!
Succulents
- Alright, I haven’t tried this subscription yet but I’m going to when we finally move into our new home! You get 2 plants for $10 each month! Succulents make me so happy. They are so pretty and you can use your creativity to pot them and grow them and propagate them how you want to! There is somethitng so gratifying about starting with a little baby succulent and growing it into something beautiful!
FabFitFun Subscription
- This could practically have its own blog post because I love it so much! I have been getting FabFitFun boxes for about two years and they never disappoint. I love treating myself to some self-care products and getting introduced to new items to try out. FabFitFun allows you to customize your boxes to your preference so that it is something that suits your liking! They deliver 4 boxes per year (one per season!)

Baggu Reusable Bags
- These bags are great for just about any toting needs you may have! I use them for groceries, beach bags, shopping bags, and sometimes if I don’t need to keep my lunch cold i’ll stick it in one of these nylon bags! These bags are washable and are so cute. There are hundreds of patterns to choose from! They are great to keep in your car because you never know when you are going to need a little bag. I love that I can use these practical bags for just about anything, They are strong and don’t rip, they also help save the planet because they will reduce your use of plastic bags or paper bags when you are shopping!
Scrunchies!
- It is no lie that I love me some scrunchies for my hair. I have since the 90’s! These make a boring pony tail have a little pizzazz and style! I get new ones every so often from anywhere, a scrunchie is a scrunchie and they’re all pretty great! My newest ones can be found at Altr’d State they have cute little bows on them too! I found that store while I was attending school in GA and am definitely a big fan of just about everything in there. There is also one located in Tampa so when Trent and I went down to visit his family for Christmas I found these cute ones pictured above.
